ABOUT THE LOVILL HOUSE INN
The Lovill House Inn is a historic home built in 1875 and lived in by the Lovill Family for 100 years. The property was converted to a bed and breakfast in 1993 and was renovated, under new ownership, to become a sustainable boutique bed and breakfast in 2020. It is rated the #1 Bed and Breakfast in Boone and has recently won the Tripadvisor Traveler's Choice Award, the Sustainable Energy Project of the Year, and the highest rating from NC Green Travel and the Sustainable Tourism award. Located within walking distance of downtown Boone and the App State Campus, with 11 acres of hiking on the property and a waterfall, the Lovill House Inn is the perfect place to stay in the High Country.
